Marcy King

Hello, my name is Marcy! I have been teaching yoga for two years, having completed my teacher training in 2024 at The Yoga Centre through the Yoga on the Rock Teacher Training programme. I am a Yoga Alliance certified teacher and can be experienced teaching every 4th Saturday of the month at The Yoga Centre, 9:30am class.

I'm an athletic, outdoorsy type who — when not teaching and practising yoga — delights in rowing around Bermuda with the Bermuda Rowing Association. I consider my yoga to be robust, with a steady, strong undercurrent of peace, wellness, and spirituality that keeps me grounded, focused, and showing up with commitment and purpose.

Yoga has been a saving grace for me over the past few years of practice, teaching, and learning. I am keen to pay it forward!

In time, I plan to expand my teaching to offer classes to children — with a particular interest in working with children with ADHD and other attention-related needs. I would also like to teach meditation and extend my current teaching of adults to a regular open or course class in due course.
